HUMAN BIOSCIENCES

Including studies in human biology, anatomy and physiology, histology and the effects of stress and aging.

APPLIED HEALTH SCIENCE

Including studies in ethical and professional standards and practices within the Australian Healthcare system, the biology of wellness, the science of nutrition and role of therapeutic interventions in aesthetics.

HEALTH COMMUNICATION AND MANAGEMENT

Including studies that equip students with tools for professional communication, practice management and critical thinking.

CLINICAL AESTHETIC PRACTICE

Which provides opportunities to integrate and consolidate health science theory and practice in a supervised clinical environment.

What is the level of study?

This is one of the highest tertiary education levels in Australia for Dermal Therapy. This Degree is taught in accordance with the AQF level 6 requirements for Australian higher education. This Degree will be delivered in a face to face classroom environment within the Faculty of Science facility with hands-on Dermal Clinic practical training supervised by industry leading Dermal Clinicians. Classes will be scheduled on a Monday and Clinic by appointment in order to accommodate students career progression. Students are encouraged to work in related fields throughout the Degree program.

Entry requirements : Interview, entry exam AND completion of the (WRB50199, WRB50114/5, SIB50110 or SHB50115) Diploma of Beauty Therapy at Elly Lukas Beauty Therapy College.
